Leadership Training Institute with the Paul to Timothy Institute
In partnership with Paul to Timothy Institute, we are assisting in a ministry-leadership institute designed for pastors and ministry leaders who are invested in long-term service. This training pathway is particularly for those who:
- want to deepen their leadership capacity within their church or ministry context
- feel called to develop others and multiply leadership through discipleship
- are seeking theological, spiritual and practical formation to lead more effectively
- are seeking theological, spiritual, and practical formation to lead more effectivelyne in courses in Leading and Mentoring for Ministry Excellence.
The curriculum includes:
- Spirit-empowered leadership and ministry in the Pentecostal tradition
- The art and discipline of preaching and teaching for transformation
- Conflict navigation and healthy team building in church life
- Leading through seasons of change and transition
- The intersection of ministry leadership, marriage and family life
- Preventing burnout and sustaining ministry with integrity
In addition, participants may earn master-level credit through the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, giving their calling formal recognition and equipping them for the next level of service.
This institute reflects our conviction that investing in leaders today results in churches equipped to lead tomorrow—leaders who can teach others, who in turn teach more, following the model in 2 Timothy 2:2.

Launching the Training Institute in Asia: Winter Initiative
This winter, Deep Oaks International is launching this same institute model in Asia. This initiative is dedicated to equipping local pastors and ministry leaders who often serve faithfully in challenging and under-resourced contexts. Our goals are to:
- partner alongside regional leaders rather than import a foreign model
- adapt the curriculum to local context and culture while preserving theological integrity
- provide training, translation resources, and ongoing mentoring for sustainable leadership development
- strengthen local churches by strengthening the leaders who serve them
This expansion is not simply a program launch—it is the beginning of a multiplying movement. By providing leadership formation in Asia, we invest in ministry front-lines, helping leaders build healthy churches that disciple others and extend the gospel impact in their regions.
Across Asia, the church is growing faster than its leaders are being equipped to shepherd it.
Research shows that in the “majority world” (which includes much of Asia), around 80% of pastors have no formal biblical training, and over 2 million pastors are serving with little to no ministry preparation. In places like Nepal, this global reality holds true: more than 90% of pastors have little or no theological education, yet they are faithfully caring for God’s people in difficult conditions.
Behind every statistic is a weary pastor trying to preach, counsel, disciple, and lead with almost no tools in their hands. When we invest in pastoral training in Asia, we’re not just filling classrooms. We’re strengthening shepherds, protecting churches from false teaching, and helping new believers grow deep roots in Christ.
